We are integrating (meta)genomic and phenotypic methods to better understand how microbial genetic background and environmental factors influence epidemiology, pathogenic potential and antimicrobial resistance of foodborne pathogens.

Jasna receives 2024 Gamma Sigma Delta Outstanding Teaching award
Gamma Sigma Delta honored five faculty members who were nominated by their department heads and peers. Jasna Kovac, associate professor of food science, received the 2024 Outstanding Teaching Award.
