This course provides you with the necessary training to meet requirements of the FDAs Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) within your company. The ruling on the Sanitary Transport of Human and Animal Food is the FDAs effort to protect foods from farm to table. FSMA was established in 2011, and in April of 2017 the FDA applied their ruling to sanitary transport.
Course Details
In this self-paced course, you learn how to safely transport food in all stages of the transportation process. Through videos and short readings, you learn about regulations, hazards associated with food during transportation, basic safety procedures, and company procedures and documentation. To receive your certificate of completion, you must pass four short quizzes with a minimum score of 80%.
