  • provide a statement of interest (max. 500 words)
  • upload your current unofficial transcript

Note: Plan ahead as it may take a few days to develop your statement of interest and to obtain a copy of your unofficial transcript from your institution.

11. Faculty - Research Matching

a. Rank the faculty mentors based on your preference. Order the faculty mentors from most preferred (=top position) to least preferred (=bottom position). For details on each faculty mentor check our website.

b. Rank the research topics offered by your top three faculty mentor choices based on your preference. Order the research projects from most preferred (=top position) to least preferred (=bottom position).

12. Statement of Interest and Transcript

a. Please enter your statement of interest in the text box below. In your statement emphasize the type of research you want to do. Make sure your research interests align with your top faculty mentor choices and the research projects you selected. Note that there is a 500 word limit.

b. Please upload your most current academic transcript as a pdf file. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable as long as they list your academic institution.

13. Reference Writers

Please provide the full name and the email address of your reference letter writer. Make sure your letter writer knows that you list them as a reference.
They will be contacted and asked to provide a recommendation letter for you. It is very important that you inform your letter writer which project(s) you selected so they can specifically tailor their letter to your selection. Depending on the number of applications we may not contact your letter writer at all.
