Additionally, she served on the Penn State Inter- Fraternity Council/Pan Hellenic Dance marathon (THON) Rules and Regulations Committee, the Sigma Alpha Social Committee and Sigma Alpha's THON Committee. Allie is driven and coupled her academic success with several internships in the enology field. She obtained a harvest internship in the New York Finger Lakes region with Keuka Spring Vineyards. The internship provided an opportunity to experience working with the winemakers at the vineyard as well as network with notable people in the industry. In the summers of 2013 and 2014, Allie completed an internship with a private family-owned winery and vineyard in Berks County, PA. These experiences led to Allie to pursue work in the field and into the Department of Food Science to pursue additional opportunities in enology.
Allie is described as a model student for her peers and future Food Science students.
