Jasna and Kerry visited our lab's research collaborators at Addis Abab University. They made it back to the U.S. just in time to practice social distancing.
Jasna and Kerry Kaylegian, Penn State Department of Food Science Associate Research Professor and dairy food safety extension specialist, had met with young researchers carrying out country-wide monitoring of foodborne pathogens in the Ethiopian dairy supply chain.
They visited milk collection centers and farms in Oromia region to carry out situational assessment for the food safety training development.
