Congratulations to a Ph.D. candidate Runan Yan for winning a competitive research grant awarded by the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences!
Runan is a second year PhD candidate in Food Science. Her research is caused on the detection and epidemiology of foodborne pathogens, with emphasis on Campylobacter.
Runan was awarded a competitive graduate research grant by the College of Agricultural Science for a proposal titled: "The Effect of Chicken Meat Native Microbiome on Campylobacter Survivability and Culturability". Congratulations!
