Congratulations to Xiaoqing (Ellie) Tan, M.S. student in Food Science, for her 1st place finish in The Penn State Microbiome Center Annual Networking Event poster competition held on October 2, 2018 in the Life Sciences Bridge.
The purpose of the event was to present work carried out at Penn State in different fields focusing on microbiome research and to facilitate new ideas for potential collaborations. Xiaoqing presented her work on "Diversity of Built Environment Microbiomes and their Association with the Occurrence of Listeria monocytogenes in three Fruit Packing Houses".
